Brands Hatch 2015

In the final weekend of the season British Touring Car Championship driver Rob Collard had a seventh and two tenth place finishes. This meant the West Surrey Racing driver ended the season 10th in the drivers Championship overall.

Ricky Collard went into the final meeting of the MSA Formula season second in the championship, just 13 points behind leader Lando Norris.

Norris dominated qualifying, taking pole position for race one, with Collard having to settle for the fourth slot on the grid.

The championship leader led from start to finish to extend his lead and while Collard was able to gain a place on lap one to get himself on the podium in third place, Norris had a bit more breathing space.

Collard actually beat his rival in the second race, finishing sixth, but Norris was just one position further back and claimed the title with a race to spare.

An eighth-place finish in race three saw Collard lose further ground on Norris, who finished second, but that result was enough to secure second place in the championship for the Hook driver.

Speaking on Twitter following the final race, Collard said: "I've tried my hardest and driven with my heart on my sleeve. Thank you for all your support!"
