Collard hunts Thruxton Victory

Rob Collard will be hoping to go one place better than last year and claim his first win at his home track of Thruxton, when the British Touring Car Championships makes its annual visit to Hampshire this weekend.

Last season, Collard led race two at the fastest circuit on the calendar, before having to settle for second place behind Jason Plato.

The Hook driver is currently in fine form in his West Surrey Racing BMW having won at the last meeting at Donington and is currently fourth in the drivers’ standings, just 14 points behind leader Matt Neal with reigning champion Gordon Shedden in second.
